Pathaan: Siddharth Anand says Shah Rukh Khan has been ‘soft target’ in recent years; breaks silence on boycott calls: ‘Audiences came out in large numbers and supported it’

Riding high on the success of Pathaan, filmmaker Siddharth Anand has now given two back-to-back blockbusters. After War and Pathaan, he has become the undisputed number-one director of his genre in India. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone & John Abraham, the film has already collected Rs. 591 crores gross worldwide! But, the film did face its fair share of controversies especially when boycott calls were made after ‘Besharam Rang’ was released. Several outfits had raised objections to Deepika Padukone wearing a saffron bikini. Speaking to Deadline, when asked if he was worried about the negativity around Pathaan ahead of its release, he said, “All I know is they tried to boycott Pathaan and audiences came out in large numbers and supported it. I think if you’re going to boycott something or raise your voice against it, there has to be some merit in that. It has to be substantiated with some facts and some reality. What they were trying to do with Pathaan was just ridiculous and the audience has given its verdict. There’s also been a huge amount of support for Shah Rukh who has been a soft target in recent years. That’s why the film has done such big numbers. There’s been such an outpouring of love – they came in wanting to like the film and not to judge it.” Talking about the recent surge of South movies doing really well in the North market and how Pathaan has broken several records, he added, “We’ve captured all four quadrants, families are going in large numbers, men, women, youth audience, across both multiplexes and single screens. It’s also firing in all territories. Earlier it was a little slow in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh because people were afraid of protests. That was on the first day. But by evening, the numbers started increasing. The South is also coming in with big numbers, not just the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions, but they’re also coming for the original Hindi version because they want to hear Shah Rukh speaking in his original voice.” On the work front, Siddharth Anand is next directing Fighter headlined by Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Colors show Durga Aur Charu to feature Rachi Sharma and Adrija Roy in lead roles after 10-Year leap

Colors show Durga Aur Charu, which started as a sequel to Barrister Babu, is all set to witness a thrilling turn as it jumps a decade into the future. Rachi Sharma will now bring to life the character of Durga, whereas Adrija Roy takes on the role of Charu after the show takes a ten-year leap.  The once inseparable sisters will  now be seen leading separate lives, each pursuing their dreams and facing new challenges. Durga is now a successful lawyer and still looks up to Charu as her inspiration. But Charu has changed and she does not value friendship any longer. Despite their differences, the paths of Durga and Charu are bound to cross, but the future of their relationship remains uncertain. Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur starrer Gumraah takes over the release date April 7 after Bawaal gets postponed

Earlier today we had reported that the Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor starrer Bawaal that was slated to release on April 7 has been pushed further due to VFX and technical issues. However, now it seems that another film has taken over the same release date. Featuring Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur for the first time together, Gumraah will be taking over the same release date. Gumraah is expected to be a crime thriller that will showcase a massive face-off between Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur. While the lead cast will come together for the first time, another interesting thing to watch in the film will be the dual role of the actor. Aditya has never played a double-role before and he will be seen in two distinct characters in the film whereas Mrunal will essay the character of a cop. Earlier, Aditya Roy Kapur had spoken about the film saying, “I am inspired and excited to be part of telling such an interesting story. The original film was incredibly riveting and entertaining, and it left a lasting impression on me. Debutant Karan Mehta plays a Muslim boy in an intense relationship with Alaya F who plays a Hindu girl. Kashyap has spared the audience none of the ugliness that such a relationship generates among social-media bouncers, the self-styled guardian of morality. Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor starrer Bawaal postponed due to VFX and technical requirements

Varun Dhawan fans have been eagerly waiting to see the actor on the big screen and Bawaal added to anticipation as it was bringing together VD and Janhvi Kapoor for the first time on the big screen. However, it seems that they have to wait a little more since the latest update on that front is that the film is witnessing a few delays due to technical issues. Sources close to the film claimed that the Sajid Nadiadwala production may be pushed further because Nitesh Tiwari and the team of the film are keen on using a special kind of technology for the film. Sources claim that the filmmakers are quite ambitious about the onscreen presentation of Bawaal and hence are even shooting it using a special technology in Poland. Confirming the same, the director Nitesh Tiwari explained that in order to maintain the quality of the film, they decided to postpone its release, instead of compromising on the effects. He said, “The visual finesse we want to achieve on these sequences will need more time than we expected. We don’t want to cut short at anything because our purpose is to bring nothing but the best version of our vision to our viewers.” Readers would be aware that Bawaal was extensively shot in Poland wherein Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor were constantly seen sharing photos and videos on social media, giving a glimpse of the picturesque locations they shot the film in. Netflix to celebrate Yash Chopra’s legacy through the docu-series The Romantics

Streaming giant Netflix is all set to celebrate the late legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra and his banner Yash Raj Films through the docu-series titled The Romantics. Directed by Smriti Mundhra, the show will be released on the Valentine’s Day on February 14 and it will be Netflix’s tribute to Chopra, who was known as ‘Father of Romance.’ Throwing more light on The Romantics, an official statement from the makers said, “The star-studded, four-part docu-series will feature 35 leading voices of the Hindi film industry and dive into the history of Bollywood through the lens of YRF’s impact in making Bollywood a household name globally. Shah Rukh Khan opens up on his balcony appearances, “I go there whenever I feel sad”

SCOOP: Kartik Aaryan delays Shehzada to February 17 out of respect to Shah Rukh Khan

Shehzada is among the most anticipated Bollywood films of the year and why not – it marks the return of Kartik Aaryan to the big screen after the blockbuster success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. While the trailer and music of the film has been trending across all the digital platforms, Bollywood Hungama has discovered that Shehzada, which was announced to arrive on February 10, 2023, has now been delayed by a week. “Pathaan is doing unimaginable business at the box office in India and is finally the Bollywood film that can break the records of Baahubali 2. The film is doing record-breaking business in India and Kartik Aaryan feels it will be unfair to release just 2 weeks after a film that’s doing so well for the film industry. Suresh Triveni to direct two projects for his banner Opening Image following Jalsa

Filmmaker Suresh Triveni’s last movie Jalsa, which released last March on Amazon Prime Video, received appreciation for its content as well as the performances from Vidya Balan, Shefali Shah and veteran actress Rohini Hattangadi. Following the film, Triveni announced his own creative studio and production house named Opening Image, in partnership with Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment. Triveni is now ready to roll his next two directorial ventures under his banner. Sharing more about his plan, an official statement from his publicist said, “While one film is an out-and-out action drama, the other one is a dramedy with an element of thrill that explores questions of identity in today’s world. Kareena Kapoor Khan wraps Hansal Mehta’s detective thriller & Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X: ‘Both these films are shockingly different’

Back in March 2022, Netflix announced that Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Vijay Varma were coming together to star in Sujoy Ghosh's untitled film. The film marks the digital debut of Kareena. It is a screen adaptation of one of Keigo Higashino’s most acclaimed novel, “The Devotion of Suspect X”. Now, Kareena has wrapped the project. Speaking to Variety, Kareena Kapoor described the Sujoy Ghosh project as “dramatically different”. “For me, it’s very different because obviously you’re used to seeing me in all the mainstream movies, which has the song, the dance, the gloss, the glamour. Both these films (Sujoy Ghosh & Hansal Mehta’s next projects) are shockingly different,” Kareena said. The film follows the story of a “single mother and her daughter who commit a crime and a neighbor who helps them cover it up amidst a police investigation.” The film is produced by 12th Street Entertainment, Northern Lights Films in association with Boundscript and Kross Pictures and marks Kareena Kapoor Khan’s streaming debut. Sujoy Ghosh will be producing the film along with Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, and Thomas Kim. On another note, the actress has also wrapped the Hansal Mehta directorial, which is reportedly titled The Buckingham Murders. The film marks her debut as a producer along with Ekta Kapoor. “I love ‘Mare of Easttown’ and when Hansal came to me, I said this is something that I’ve really been dying to do. So we’ve molded a little bit on those lines, she plays a detective cop in that,” Kareena told Variety. “It’s the first time that I’ve dabbled in that.” The actress also said that the film is 80 percent shot in English and 20 percent in Hindi. Anurag Kashyap expresses regret for turning down Sushant Singh Rajput's invitation to collaborate

Anurag Kashyap recently made headlines where he expressed guilt over his public statement about his Dev.D actor Abhay Deol and privately about the late Sushant Singh Rajput. In an interview, Anurag accused Abhay of being difficult to work with, claiming that the actor insisted on staying in a five-star hotel separate from the rest of the cast and crew. Abhay had denied this.  Anurag had revealed shortly after Sushant's death that he had refused to speak with him about a project because he was resentful of being ghosted by the actor in the past. The filmmaker discussed his differences with Abhay and Sushant in a new interview with Showsha. He said, “It’s taken me a year-and-a-half of sickness to realise a lot of things. I was so reactive; I would say things. I would say things out of anger, out of reaction, to things I felt perturbed by. It took me time to realise that I’m shouting, I’m shouting in a room full of people shouting. Nobody’s listening to each other, not just to me. That’s what social media has become. And I stepped back. I said, ‘Why am I reacting to this? What is bothering me?'”  He further added, “A lot has changed, but I know I have no filter. But it’s also made me realise I don’t need to say everything… For example, that whole spat between me and Abhay. Somebody was doing an article about why a very good actor like Abhay is no longer in the movies, and I spoke about my experiences, something that happened 13 years ago. I didn’t need to say it publicly. And the day the unfortunate incident happened of SSR, I felt so bad. Three weeks prior to that somebody was trying to reach out because he wanted to talk, and I was like, ‘No, he ghosted me, I don’t want to talk’. You get pangs of guilt. So, I tried to reach out to Abhay and I apologised to him, because somebody had told me that he was upset about me speaking publicly about him.”  Anurag stated that he told Abhay that it was fine to yell at him and then apologised repeatedly for what he said. However, Abhay appeared to be upset about what Anurag had said about him as recently as last month. Abhay called the filmmaker a "liar" and a "toxic" person in an interview with mid-day. Anurag acknowledged that they had both changed and expressed regret for what he had said.  Anurag had stated in a 2020 interview with NDTV that he was disappointed that Sushant had backed out of projects with him in favour of more high-profile jobs. He stated, “YRF called him and said, ‘We’ll give you a deal. You do Shuddh Desi Romance.’ Sushant, who used to sit in my office with Mukesh and all of us used to sit together, signed up with YRF and dropped Hasee Toh Phasee, a film of an outsider because usko validation YRF ka chahiye tha (he wanted validation from YRF). It’s with every actor, so I am not holding any grudges… Years later, in 2016, before the release of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Mukesh went to Sushant and said, ‘Anurag has written a script looking for an actor who can play someone based out of Uttar Pradesh.’ Dhoni released, became a success and he never called me back. Pathaan’s first-ever media event expected to take place on Monday, January 30; will be attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham?

The media has been waiting to see Shah Rukh and to interact with him. As a result, a large turnout of the media is expected. Mission Majnu: Adnan Siddiqui calls out ‘misrepresntation of Pakistanis’ in the Sidharth Malhotra starrer spy entertainer

Sidharth Malhotra returns to his patriotic avatar with Mission Majnu but this time he was seen essaying the role of a 70s spy in Pakistan, working for India. Co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, the film premiered on Netflix a few days ago but it seems that the film has been facing a little backlash from Pakistanis for their misrepresentation. Joining the debate now is Pakistani star Adnan Siddiqui, who is known for his performance in Sridevi’s last film, Mom, in which he essayed the role of her husband. He took to social media to review the Shantanu Bagchi film and expressed his disappointment over the same. Adnan Siddiqui took to Instagram to share a long note about Mission Majnu and how it misrepresented Pakistanis and portrayed a very wrong image of the residents in the country. He also called out the stereotype perception of their habits. He started off the note by saying, “How much misrepresentation is too much misrepresentation? Bollywood has the answer. I mean come on, yaar with all the money you have, hire some good researchers to do homework on us. Or allow me to help. Make sure to take notes—no, we don’t wear skull caps, surma, tawiz; no, we don’t ask janab about their mijaz; no, we don’t go around throwing adaab.” He continued, “There’s so much in #MissionMajnu that’s distasteful & factually incorrect. Jacqueline Fernandez receives permission to travel to Dubai from Delhi High Court

Jacqueline Fernandez, who is currently being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate owing to her alleged involvement in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar Rs. 200 crore extortion case, has been granted the permission to travel abroad for professional commitments, albeit with certain conditions. The actress had earlier approached the Delhi Patiala High Court seeking the permit for travelling abroad to attend her scheduled performance for PepsiCo India conference where she was to perform at the Annual Bottlers Conference in Dubai. On Friday, the Delhi Patiala High Court granted permission to Jacqueline Fernandez to travel to Dubai after her counsel argued that the actress may face lawsuit from the brand for non-participation if she doesn’t make it to the conference. Considering the same, the court has granted her permission to travel but along with that it has also observed that it will come along with some conditions. Owing to the fact that the ED is still investigating the Sukesh Chandrashekhar case, for which, she has been named as a witnessed, the court has laid certain guidelines for the actress including a FDR of Rs. 1 crore, in case she doesn’t return. As per the court order, the actress is also expected to give a full disclosure of her stay details in Dubai including itinerary, arrival, and departure. In the past too, Jacqueline Fernandez had filed a plea seeking permission to travel but had withdrawn the same. While the counsel argued that the actress decided to cooperate in the investigation and decided against traveling for personal reasons, the current reason for her to insist on leaving for Dubai is because of the professional repercussions she may face if she doesn’t attend the event. On the other hand, the ED opposed it not only stating that the case is still under investigation but also pointing out that Jacqueline is a foreign national which increases the threat of her fleeing. After listening to both arguments, the court upheld its decision of allowing Fernandez to travel for the conference but keeping in mind the ongoing investigation of the Sukesh Chandrashekhar Rs. 200 crore extortion case, the court has asked the actress to strictly adhere to the guidelines that have been laid down. For the unversed, Jacqueline Fernandez is being investigated for her alleged relationship with Sukesh Chandrashekhar. While the actress claims to be a victim of the conman, the Enforcement Directorate is investigating and has filed multiple chargesheets regarding the same. Shaheer Sheikh rescues 16-month-old daughter, wheelchair-bound father-in-law and wife Ruchikaa Kapoor after fire breaks out in Andheri building

Last to last night was tough for the family of popular TV actor Shaheer Sheikh. For the unversed, on January 25, 2023, a massive fire broke out in the actor's building. Shaheer Sheikh's wife Ruchika Kapoor took to her verified social media handle and shared the details of the horrific incident. On a long note, Kapoor stated that she was at home with her 16-month-old daughter and parents and at around 1.30 am, she got a call that their building was on fire. However, after a lot of effort, the whole family was evacuated safely. Ruchikaa Kapoor thanked the firefighters and explained the incident in detail. She said that her father is wheelchair-bound while her daughter Anaya is just 16 months old. Given this, it was very difficult to get down the stairs from her 15th-floor apartment. Ruchikaa further added that Shaheer Sheikh and his brother-in-law along with firefighters came to rescue her. After a lot of effort, the whole family was evacuated till 5 in the morning. Sarfarosh fame John Mathew Matthan joins Vivek Agnihotri, Priyadarshan and others for the series One Nation

Filmmaker John Mathew Matthan had a dream directorial debut with the Aamir Khan and Naseeruddin Shah-starrer Sarfarosh. The film, which won critical and box office accolades, is still remembered. However, his next film Shikhar (2005), which starred Ajay Devgn and Shahid Kapoor, didn’t do well. His following project A New Love Ishtory couldn’t get completed. Now, Matthan has bagged a web-series titled One Nation. The Sarfarosh filmmaker will be directing one episode along with the likes of Priyadarshan, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, Maju Bohara and Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan for the show. All six filmmakers are National Award winners. The show is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Hitesh Thakkar. Pathaan protests in MP: Home Minister Narottam Mishra says there is no point in protesting now

Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film Pathaan is expected to earn around Rs 50 crores at the box office on its first day (yesterday). The film has succeeded in pulling large crowds into the cinema halls in such a way that it is expected to break the record of the highest opening for a Bollywood movie. But amidst such scenes, some Right Wing organizations held some protests against Pathaan in parts of Madhya Pradesh yesterday, as reported by NDTV. The film was under fire for the saffron coloured bikini worn by Deepika Padukone in the song ‘Besharam Rang’ as that colour is considered sacred by the Hindus. But the state’s Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said that there is no point in having any protests now as there have been “corrections” made in the film by the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certifications). Speaking to a group of reporters, he said, “I believe all rectifications have been made in it (film). The Censor Board has made corrections. Controversial words have been removed. So, I don’t see any point in protesting now.” He also said that those who are still protesting against the movie will be “counselled,” added the same report by NDTV. Mishra, who is a part of the BJP, was one of the first persons to raise objections in Pathaan last month for the colour of the bikini in the said song. He had said then, “The outfits worn (by Deepika Padukone) in the song are objectionable. It is evident that this song has been picturized by polluted minds. Anyways, Deepika ji has been a supporter of the ‘Tukde Tukde’ gang; she attended the JNU protests. BREAKING: More than 20,000 shows of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan are playing in a day in just Mumbai circuit, a RECORD for a Hindi film post-pandemic

The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan has embarked upon an earth-shattering opening. The word of mouth has been quite positive as the moviegoers have been impressed by the film’s tight narrative, scale, action, emotions, and of course the performances of SRK, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. The cameo by Salman Khan, which was an open secret, has also been loved unanimously and has contributed to the craze around the film. The advance booking of Pathaan began on January 18 on a rocking note. With each passing day, ticket sales increased. A trade source said, “We all knew that there’s tremendous demand for the film. Yet, we were not prepared to see such kinds of bookings. Hence, many exhibitors and multiplexes increased shows to cater to the insane demand.” It has now come to light that in the Mumbai circuit, Pathaan has more than 20,000 shows a day! The source continued, “In the past, films like RRR (2022), Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion (2017), Avatar: The Way Of Water (2022), Avengers: Endgame (2019), etc also had so many shows in the circuit. But post-pandemic, this is a first for the Mumbai circuit for a Hindi film. In his speech he mentioned that it was his first visit to Saudi, but won’t be his last. The actor said, “I’ve always believed that cinema is a medium of entertainment, and it is a medium that brings people together and integrates human society. We come from different walks of life and come from different paths of the world, but when we watch something, we laugh at the same jokes and cry at the same things. We come together at one platform.”

“My father, a great poet - during the last days of his life, he used to watch a Hindi film every evening, sometimes repeating the same film every time. I asked him what is it that you find interesting in cinema. He said that I get poetic justice in three hours. You and I won’t get poetic justice in a lifetime or several lifetimes. That’s the power of cinema. I’m proud to be a very small part of the film industry of my country. When you honour me today, you honour the film industry of my country, you honour my country,” he further added.

Amitabh was accompanied by his family members including Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan in Saudi Arabia.

On the work front, Amitabh was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai. The actor has Project K in his pipeline, starring alongside Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.

Netflix’s The Elephant Whisperers bags the nomination for the 95th Oscars, Documentary Short Film. This documentary marks the directorial debut of Kartiki Gonsalves. The documentary is produced by Guneet Monga and Achin Jain under the banner of Sikhya Entertainment. The documentary was screened at the United States of America’s largest and most prestigious documentary festival - DOC NYC 2022 Film Festival on November, 10th 2022. The DOC NYC celebrates and supports the cultural shift of how documentary storytelling is flourishing like never before.

This is Sikhya Entertainment’s second run at the Oscars, and Guneet's third (Period. End of Sentence won the Documentary Short category in 2019 and Guneet Monga’s Kavi was nominated in 2010).

The Elephant Whisperers is a heartwarming story of an indigenous couple who have been given an orphaned elephant, Raghu to look after. The story follows the couple's journey as they relentlessly work to ensure Raghu’s recovery and survival. The short documentary beautifully stitches the tale of how the couple falls in love with the majestic creature along the course of time. Set against the background of life in the wild spaces of South India The Elephant Whisperers highlights the beauty of exotic wildlife, unforgettable wild spaces, and the people and animals who share this space. It is available on Netflix.

Rajkumar Santoshi files complaint at Mumbai police after receiving threats for his film Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh

It seems that the films releasing this week are facing trouble from different groups owing to the subjects. While Pathaan has been facing protests from different groups because of the saffron colour bikini of Deepika Padukone, the other film that is releasing alongside, Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh is also facing its own share of trouble. This film has come under the radar after some groups took offense, claiming that it glorifies Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin. And now with the filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi receiving threats over the same, he has sought the help of Mumbai for increasing security.

As per PTI reports, Rajkumar Santoshi has written a letter to the Special Commissioner of Police Deven Bharti, in which he has requested his help after a group of people interrupted and caused a scene at the recently held promotional event of Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh . “Later several threats were received from some unknown people asking me to stop the release and promotion for this movie. I feel unsafe and I submit that grave damage and injury could be caused to me and my family members if such persons are set free,” said the excerpts of the letter.

Furthermore, he stressed on the need of protection adding, “I request you to urgently provide me with additional security to protect myself and other members of my family.”

Rajkumar Santoshi who has directed some hard hitting films like Damini and Ghayal, will be returning to the big screen wherein he wanted to portray the clashing ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi and Naturam Godse, and what prompted the latter to kill the man, who is known as the ‘Father of the Nation’.

Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh is a historical drama Deepak Antani and Chinmany Mandlekar and is slated to release on January 26.

Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada trailer crosses 100 million views across platforms

Ever since the trailer of director Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada dropped on the internet and social media, Kartik Aaryan’s fans have gone into a frenzy. Although the actor is known for giving a series of commercial hits, this is the first time that he is starring in an out-and-out masala entertainer and this seems to have worked out well with the trailer going viral in no time.

Now, the Shehzada trailer has crossed a major milestone as it has gone past 100 million views across platform on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram in just 11 days.

Shehzada is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Released in 2020, the movie starred Allu Arjun in the lead role along with Pooja Hegde, Nivetha Pethuraj and Sushanth Anumolu. The remake has been produced by Bhushan Kumar under his banner T-Series.

Recently, Kartik was seen in Rajat Sharma’s television chat show Aap Ki Adalat. Among various things, he also spoke about him emerging as a major star of Bollywood lately. “I have always seen myself as no. 1,” he said on the show. “Slowly people are also getting to know that and are seeing me like that. But the audience’s love is what matters the most to me. I am desperate for their love and only for that am I obsessed with myself and want to give hit films... there’s only one Shehzada (prince) in the film industry.”

Shehzada is all set to release on February 10.

SCOOP: Ajay Devgn & Neeraj Pandey's next is a romantic thriller set in two eras

After Chanakya was put on the back burner, Ajay Devgn and Neeraj Pandey decided to collaborate on another project. It was announced in October last year without any of the two sharing any details about the genre. Bollywood Hungama has discovered that the film in question is a romantic thriller set in 2 eras.

"Ajay Devgn and Neeraj Pandey's next is set in the late 90s and the present times. It's a romantic thriller, whose story begins in the 1990s and then takes a 20-year leap switching to the present," a source told Bollywood Hungama, adding further that the younger portion is played by Saiee Majrekar and a young actor, whereas the older portion will see Ajay Devgn with Tabu.

It's a one of its kind film for Indian cinema and both Ajay and Neeraj are confident to win over their audience with their thriller. The film begins soon in Lucknow with a start-to-finish schedule. "Ajay Devgn has 25 days of work in the thriller and will complete all of it in one go. He will be shooting with Tabu soon in Lucknow," the source further told us.

The movie was announced for a June 2023 release, but we hear it has now been pushed further to the last quarter of 2023 and a new date will be announced once the shooting is wrapped up. Ajay will next be seen in Bholaa, which is all set for a March 30 release.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan hits a century, to release in 100+ countries, the highest for any Indian film ever!

The most awaited film in Indian cinema after a long, long time, Pathaan, is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and has the biggest superstars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in it. YRF’s adrenaline-pumping entertainer, Pathaan, is set to release worldwide tomorrow in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu and it has already created a new record in overseas territories!

Another huge reason for the buzz around Pathaan is that two of the biggest megastars of the country Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are teaming up in Yash Raj Films’ Pathaan.
